I feel like I’m looking at a promo picture for a really cool movie. In actuality, it’s a photo taken for a series where photographer, Eric Valli, documented the lives of people who live “Off the Grid”. What’s cooler than watching Avengers for a second time? Watching it with someone who worked on the movie! My friend Patrick did visual effects and his name is listed in the credits! How great is that!

Another image of my upcoming project, The Sinking Sea: an autobioDRAWphy. Every day I’ve been trying to at least draw SOMETHING. (Mainly people.) I’m trying to refine my style… well, really, learn what my style is. So for the next while, I’ll be uploading test images. You may see me experiment with different techniques depending on the picture.

The first image of a new project I’m undertaking. 

I’m excited to share this with you for a few reasons: 

1. I’ll be doing something that I love that I’ve been neglecting for a while.

2. If people are reading it, it gives me more pressure to do it. #accountability 

3. The Lord can use anything for His glory including my bad shading techniques. 

So, here is the beginning of my new project - The Sinking Sea: an autobioDRAWphy. 

The Sinking Sea is my autobiography in comic form. You’ll get a lot of history and meet a bunch of my friends. I want this to be honest and raw so you’ll also experience the peaks and valleys that have peppered the journey. 

There’s more coming soon, but for now enjoy this teaser image.
