The Story of Ian & Larissa. I recommend you stop what you’re doing and watch this. This is an excellent picture of love. A Gospel-filled love.

What’s cooler than watching Avengers for a second time? Watching it with someone who worked on the movie! My friend Patrick did visual effects and his name is listed in the credits! How great is that!

The first image of a new project I’m undertaking.
I’m excited to share this with you for a few reasons:
1. I’ll be doing something that I love that I’ve been neglecting for a while.
2. If people are reading it, it gives me more pressure to do it. #accountability
3. The Lord can use anything for His glory including my bad shading techniques.
So, here is the beginning of my new project - The Sinking Sea: an autobioDRAWphy.
The Sinking Sea is my autobiography in comic form. You’ll get a lot of history and meet a bunch of my friends. I want this to be honest and raw so you’ll also experience the peaks and valleys that have peppered the journey.
There’s more coming soon, but for now enjoy this teaser image.

If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for. C. Spurgeon (via exceedingsweetdelight)

Mac and iPhone App Suggestion: I really enjoy keeping a journal. It’s been great this past year to write down a log of my life. Some people like to handwrite their journals, but unfortunately, I have the handwriting of a fourth grader chicken.
If you’re looking to start a journal or are wanting to go digital, I recommend getting Day One. Day One is a great journal application. It’s got a great, simple interface. You can turn on an “inspirational messages” feature that shows you a quote or question that might give you some thoughts on what to write about. You can view your posts by calendar or in a list. Search through your entries, set an alarm to remind yourself to journal, “star” some of your favorite journals or flag them to go back and finish if you get interrupted.
There are many great features and they’re continually updating the app. If you buy the iPhone app, it’ll sync between your Mac and iPhone seamlessly. Also, afraid your hard drive may fail and dont want to lose your info? Day One can also back up your posts to Dropbox or Apple’s iCloud.
Get started on your own journal, and until then, you can enjoy the fake post I wrote for today pictured above. :)
